The short course which is given by THDP partner Manuela Mannino commenced in the summer of 2015, and is  held three times a year at the college.

Manuela is now taking the course to Dubai and she will be resident there from 23rd to 29th October during Dubai Design Week.

In August 2016 Manuela gave a Hotel Interior Design Master Class lasting four weeks, where the students had the opportunity to focus on a guest room and bathroom workshop, visited the hotel building site of L'Oscar Hotel and saw the opulent mock up suite by Jaques Garcia.

They also met the General Manager, who took them through the process of selecting refined and unique products for the service operations. They met Maria, the design coordinator, who gave them an insight in the complexity of design revisions.

The other remarkable visits were the Hoxton Holborn Hotel and the Rosewood London private tours, which took them in the heart of hospitality innovation and details.

The course gave also an overview on project management with the talk by the Generators Hostels Europe project manager.

This course is held once a year only.

In Dubai the students will have a full on experience and introduction on hotel design in a practical, dinamic way, with an exclusive private view of an iconic world famous design hotel in Burj Kalifa.
