Situated in the Northern Adriatic, just a few kilometres from Venice, the island of Albarella is a rare and natural gem. Privately owned the island is in the Veneto Region in north east of Italy, situated in a lagoon just south of Venice. It is connected to the area by a narrow causeway lightly raised above sea level. The island covers an area of 528 hectares covered by Mediterranean scrub land, with 2 million trees of 150 different species, including cluster pine and white poplar, also known as "Populus Alba", from which the island takes its name. Albarella has fantastic sporting facilities, including the 18 holes golf course, inspired by the Scottish links and designed by John Dering Harris

THE HOTEL

The Capo Nord Hotel is surrounded by the lush greenery of the Marquis scrubland in the northern most point of the island. Situated next to a fine sandy beach, the hotel offers 23 hotel rooms, 63 residential apartments consisting of double rooms and duplex apartments facing the interior circular courtyard lawn, and are arranged over one and two floors.

All apartments are designed for families, have a terrace, built in kitchen, there are tv in both bedroom and lounge. There are twelve suites on the first floor, accessed by a private lift. The rooms are furnished with a king size bed, desk area, lounge, sofa bed and outdoor Jacuzzi pool. Additional services include a private beach, the landscape project around the hotel is inspired by the Mediterranean and Po river natural environment, the main entrance faces the island’s park, with park ing for cars and bikes tucked away to one side. The hotel is a mix of leisure and business guests, with a 700 sq metre conference centre and a spa nearby helping stretch the season into the autumn and spring seasons.
